THE SWIMMING POOL, Worthing
Blindspot have been employed to design the exclusive residents swimming pool and main entrances, which form the core areas of ‘The Warnes Development'.
The design brief given to Amanda and Paul at Blindspot by their client for the swimming pool was to create a ‘luxury Romanesque environment with a contemporary twist, which will not date too quickly'.
The inspiration for the design was taken from the classical form of the roman style column, together with the visual grandeur of interiors from that age.
The use of the diffused lighting wall panels, coupled with area's of low level accent lighting,has been
contrasted with striking linear blue neon strips, which wash across the ceiling and demarcate the walkways. Blindspot have used cool/mid blue tones for the specialist wall finish and floor/swimming pool tiling, which is offset by natural textured stone colours and is sure to strike a relaxing ambience for it's lucky residents.
The resulting design is a complimentary fusion of classical and contemporary styling, which maximises the space and offers luxurious surroundings.
